One of the major advantages of buying an Android tablet is that it offers us access to a wide variety of excellent apps. These apps allow us to make our life a lot more convenient and comfortable, which means that these apps let us make the most of our Android tablets. However, if you are planning to make the most of your Android tablet, then you will have to use the preset features in the device. This means that you will need to have a clear idea on the hidden features in your tablet. Below are a few simple tips and trick that will help you to make the most of your Android tablet.
Quickly Switch Apps
The Android operating system usually kills off the stale apps in your device if left unattended. Fortunately, the operating system does allow you to easily and instantly switch between the running apps in your device. You can do this by simply tapping on the Recent icon on the bottom of your Android tablet.
However, if your tablet doesn’t have a Recent icon, then long pressing the Home button will do the job. A list of running apps will be displayed on the screen of your device when you long press the Home button, and then you can tap on the one you want to switch to, before dismissing the list.
Add Lock Screen Widgets
You can easily add a lock screen widget to your Android tablet by tapping on the large Plus icon on your tablet’s lock screen. If there is no such button, swipe the lock screen either to the right or to left. Now, choose a widget from the displayed results.
You will be able to place multiple widgets on the lock screen of your time, but only one will be displayed at a time. So, you will have to swipe the screen of your Android tablet to see the other widgets.
Choose Default Apps
Several Android tablet users prefer to use a mobile data connection to stream video contents, play online games, and to browse the web. In certain cases, users may unintentionally exceed the mobile data limit. So, closely monitor the data usage of your Android tablet with the Data Usage screen in your tablet. All you have to do is to simply go to the Settings menu of your Android tablet and then tap on Data Usage.
